Depending on the complexity of the project and desired deliverables, it typically takes 2-4 months to complete a single-family residential design. However, if permits are required this may extend the design process by a few months. A design process for multi-family residential, commercial, and institutional projects typically takes a minimum of 6 months.

Every site is different, and every client is different. Therefore, design fees are determined based on the client's needs, as well as the size, complexity, and location of the site. In general, design fees for a typical single-family lot in the Lower Mainland start at $2,200.

The design process may vary based on the type of project. However, most projects would include these three stages:
1. Pre-Design (studying the site and client);
2. Conceptual Design (development of layout, form, and character);
3. Detailed Design (detailing of all landscape components).

We are flexible enough to accommodate the client’s communication preferences. Although most clients typically prefer e-mail communication, we are available for site visits, online meetings, and phone conversations. For projects that require coordination with other consultants (architects, engineers, etc.) or the city, we are fully capable of coordinating in a streamlined and timely manner.

Yes, we are fully insured, including professional liability insurance (Errors & Omissions). We meet the insurance criteria for most developments and strata requirements.

With a portfolio of over 240 projects across Western BC, we have the knowledge and expertise to take your landscape architectural project to the finish line. We are well-versed in local bylaws, building codes and design practices, and work in all scales.

We typically don't provide references to protect the privacy of our clients. However, we invite you to explore the reviews we received to see if we might be a good fit for you.

As our studio specializes in design, we do not offer maintenance or installation services. However, we work with multiple trusted contractors in the industry. We'll be happy to help you find a contractor that would be the best fit for your project and budget.

After the design has been completed and approved, we can source the general contractor, oversee the installation, coordinate, and provide design support as needed.

Absolutely. We can provide all required drawings for permit applications and are experienced with handling the application process itself. If needed, we provide signed and sealed drawings by a BCSLA registered landscape architect.

Yes, we do conceptual design. However, we would not be able to sign & seal drawings as required for large-scale development projects.
